Celebrating Our 21st Year!

Since our beginning in 1987, there have been no fees or auditions to join and membership is open to any interested post high school adult. As stated in our by-laws, our objectives have always been:

• to provide Oshkosh area musicians a venue with which to perform
• to provide Oshkosh area residents an opportunity to hear good band literature as performed by the OACB
• to develop a regular and supportive following.

When developing our by-laws we selected a motto: MUSIC SHOULD BE FOR LIFE! As time has passed, we have realized the importance of this motto.

 

News and Notes

Our first fall rehearsal was on Monday, September 8. We rehearse in the Oshkosh West High School band room at 7 pm and if you are a "post high school" adult, you are welcome to join us! You may enter directly into the bandroom through "Door 34" located on Eagle Street just South of the Alberta Kimball Auditorium. At that time we will begin sight-reading possible selections for our Fall Concert. There are no fees and no auditions to join. We hope some of you will consider joining us!
